Continuous Improvement Specialist

With nearly a decade of experience in education, Dominique has served as a dedicated middle and high school teacher, inspiring students through meaningful learning experiences in math, English, and history courses. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice at Dillard University, equipping her with a fundamental knowledge of global social systems as they relate to injustice and inequity. Following an initial focus on law, she pivoted toward teaching with a strong desire to enhance educational experiences for students after completing an AmeriCorps term in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Furthering her commitment to educational equity, she pursued graduate studies, focusing on youth development and empowerment with an emphasis on students of marginalized groups.

Dominique is passionate about empowering young minds and views education as a transformative tool for personal and community growth. Her work is deeply informed by her appreciation for the rich history of education in America and its significance in shaping the nation’s future.
