DESCRIPTION

Seeding Success has partnered with International Paper to provide this introductory training on Continuous Improvement concepts and tools*. Participants will learn how to:

  • identify waste to create more efficient processes

  • use a variety of tools at each step of the continuous improvement process

  • interpret charts & graphs to inform decisions

  • sustain continuous improvement efforts

Training consists of eight (8) self-paced online modules, a short pre-work activity, and a half day virtual workshop that will reinforce learnings and concepts from the online modules. This training is ideal for individuals who lead projects or programs and contribute to the development and/or implementation of strategies and interventions.

Who should attend this training?

  • This training is open to any staff of organizations that are currently Seeding Success partners or in the process of becoming Seeding Success partners

  • The content covered in the training may be particularly useful for individuals who lead projects or programs and contribute to the development and/or implementation of strategies and interventions.

* Note: for those who have taken the Data Use & Literacy training, this training will revisit the continuous improvement cycle framework but you will learn different tools and concepts to help drive continuous improvement efforts.

PRE-WORK

There are 8 online modules, and short activity, and quizzes that take approximately 3 hours to complete. A calendar hold and pre-work will be sent 2 weeks prior to the training.
