Memphis Tomorrow is an association of the CEOs of Memphis’ largest businesses. Our purpose is to engage the highest-ranking officers, and the resources of their companies, in fostering prosperity and quality of life in Greater Memphis. In 2006, Memphis Tomorrow co-launched a public-private partnership, called Memphis Fast Forward, together with Memphis’ city and county mayors. Fast Forward, now in its 10th year, has become a nationally-recognized collaborative action initiative, and has helped spur the creation of more than 17,000 new jobs, contributed to a 21% drop in violent crime and a 31% drop in property crime, and advanced a suite of K12 education reforms that has put Memphis at ground zero for national reform.
