Opportunity Youth Report
Nationally, there are 5.25 million young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither enrolled in school nor employed. These youth are known as “Opportunity Youth,” as they represent untapped potential for the future workforce needs of the United States.
While opportunity youth face many barriers to reengaging with education and employment opportunities, they remain hopeful that they can achieve their academic and career goals.
